Replace sealing flange on the gearbox side|Install > < Replace sealing flange on the gearbox side

Removing
Removing
l  Gearbox is removed.
–  Remove the flywheel → Chapter.
   
–  Remove the intermediate plate from the dowel sleeves and unhook from sealing flange -arrows-.
–  Position crankshaft on TDC for cylinder 1:
t  Fabia II, Roomster, Rapid → Chapter.
t  Octavia II, Superb II, Yeti → Chapter.
–  Removing the oil pan:
t  Fabia II, Roomster, Rapid → Chapter.
t  Octavia II, Superb II, Yeti → Chapter.

–  Remove engine speed sender -G28--Position 1-.
–  Unscrew the fixing screws of the sealing flange.
  S23-0201
–  Screw 3 screws M6 x 35 mm into the threaded bores of the sealing flange -arrows-.
–  Press out sealing flange together with rotor from the crankshaft by alternately screwing the screws into the sealing flange.
