Special tools and workshop equipment required
t  Universal dial gauge holder -MP 3-447 (VW 387)-
t  Dial gauge
Perform measurement with the cylinder head cover installed.
   
Checking the axial play of the camshaft
l  Wear limit: 0,4 mm

  Note
Valves must not be reworked. Only grinding in is permissible.
