  Note
Sliding use of PTFE gasket rings (Poly Tetra Fluor Ethylene). Distinguishing feature: with an annular spring, sealing lips somewhat broader. The sealing lip of the gasket ring must neither be oiled nor greased.
–  Remove oil residue on the crankshaft stub with a clean cloth.
   
–  Install -T 10053/1- guide bushing on the crankshaft stub.
–  Slide gasket ring over the guide bushing onto the crankshaft stub.

–  Press in gasket ring fully with pressure sleeve -T 10053- and bolt -T 10053/2- (-M16- x 1.5 x 60) up to the stop.

–  Install timing belt gear onto the crankshaft and lock with counterholder-T 30004-. Tightening torque: 90 Nm + torque a further 1/4 turn (90°)
  Note
Thread and collar must be free of oil and grease.
How is the toothed belt installed and the timing set → Chapter.
–  Installing tensioning element for V-ribbed belt.
–  Install the V-ribbed belt → Chapter → Chapter.
