q   The middle and rear silencers are installed as standard as a single part. The middle and rear silencers are delivered individually for repair purposes and are to be connected together with a double clamp.
q   use body saw to separate exhaust pipe at right angles at the separation point → Fig.

t  Body saw e.g. -V.A.G 1523-
Procedure
–  Separate the connecting pipe between the middle and rear silencers at the point marked by a groove. Dimension -a- ca. 160...180 mm.
