Removing and installing the headlight range control motor
Removing and installing the headlight range control motor
  Note
If the poistioning motors are removed and installed or replaced, always check the setting of the headlight beam with the headlight beam setting device → Superb.
Removing
–  Remove headlight → Chapter.
   
–  Remove screws -arrows- and take off the cap.
–  Disconnect the plug connection at the control motor.

–  Remove screws -1-.
  S94-0133
–  Swing the spherical head of the adjusting axis -1- out of the guide on the reflector -arrow-.
–  Remove control motor.
Install
–  Installation is carried out in the reverse order.
After installing:
–  Inspecting the headlight beam setting → Superb.
–  Carry out the basic setting of the headlight range control using the Vehicle diagnosis, measurement and information system -VAS 5051-.
