| Remove screws (Pos. 1) and remove tensioning straps. |

| Remove screw (Pos. 2) from heat shield (Pos. 5). |

| Separate the box (Pos. 4) from the sealant (Pos. 3) (cut off) and detach from the luggage compartment floor upwards. |

| Clean the adhesive surfaces with the cleaner D 009 401 04 and degrease. |
| –
| Apply the primer D 009 200 02 in the adhesive area. |
| –
| Apply the PUR adhesive D 172 090 A2 in the adhesive area on the battery box. |
| –
| After applying the adhesive all around the box, insert in the opening in the luggage compartment floor. |
| –
| Press onto the floor by hand and secure with screws (Pos. 1) with tensioning straps. |
| –
| Install screw (Pos. 2). |
Note | Ensure proper glueing, in order to prevent water leaking into the vehicle. |
