Removing and installing the front glass panel

Removing:

–	Open the glass panel -1- until the blind -2- is accessible.

–	Pull the blind -2- towards the bottom in direction of -arrow A- and carefully unhook the retaining lug -3- on the reverse side.

–	Unclip the catch pegs -4- on the reverse side.

–	Push the blind -2- forwards in direction of -arrow B- and subsequently remove.

–	Remove screws -2-.

Note

Use a magnetic tool for removing the screws so that the screws do not fall into the mechanism of the sliding roof.

–	Take out the glass panel -1-.

WARNING

If the glass panel is removed, do not operate the tilting mechanism otherwise damage (scratches) could occur to the draft deflector.

Installing:

Note

Use a magnetic tool for installing the screws so that the screws do not fall into the guide of the sliding roof.

–	Insert glass panel -1- and install screws -2-. Do not tighten!

–	Adjust front glass panel → Chapter.

–	Tighten screws -2- (5 Nm).

–	Insert the front blind -2- into the glass panel -1- in direction of -arrow A-.

–	Clip in catch pegs -4-.

–	Hook in the retaining lug -3- on the reverse side -arrow B-.

–	Carry out standard run procedure → Chapter.
