Audio - Cassette Will Not Eject

TITLE:

1987 ELECTRONIC TUNE RADIO COMBO WITH LOGIC CASSETTE DECK

Condition:

Cassette tape will not eject from the cassette deck.

Cause:

A momentary jamming or sticking of the cassette tape during the eject mode might cause the logic circuit to become confused.

Reset the logic circuit by performing the following procedures:

1.

Remove power to the radio by disconnecting the negative battery cable at the battery post.

2.

Wait 30 seconds and reconnect battery.

3.

Turn the radio on and press the stop (eject) button. (Tape should come out by itself).

4.

If the tape does not come out, check to see if something has fallen in or on top of the tape preventing the mechanism from pushing the tape
out.

If this condition still exists, do not remove the tape from the cassette deck. Please refer to the corrections below:

Replace the radio assembly with exchange unit
