1. INSTALL POWER STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY

a. Install the power steering link assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

Torque: 70 Nm (714 kgf-cm, 52 ft. lbs.) 

NOTICE:  Turn the bolt while holding the nut.

2. INSTALL ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSAXLE

HINT:  Refer to the instructions for installation of the engine assembly. 

3. CONNECT TIE ROD ASSEMBLY

a. Connect the tie rod assembly (LH side) to the steering knuckle with the castle nut.

Torque: 49 Nm (500 kgf-cm, 36 ft. lbs.) 

b. Install a new cotter pin.

NOTICE:  Further tighten the nut up to 60° if the holes for the cotter pin are not aligned.

c. Connect the RH side by using the same procedure as for the LH side.

4. CONNECT STEERING INTERMEDIATE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

a. Align matchmarks on the steering intermediate shaft assembly and the power steering link assembly.

b. Install the bolt.

Torque: 35 Nm (360 kgf-cm, 26 ft. lbs.)
