Evaporator Core: Service and Repair
Rear Evaporator & Expansion Valve

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable and discharge system refrigerant.

2.

Disconnect electrical connectors.

3.

Remove magnetic valve.

4.

Disconnect refrigerant lines at cooling unit.

5.

Remove three rear cooling unit attaching bolts, then the cooling unit.

6.

Remove thermistor and expansion valve.

7.

Separate case halves and remove evaporator.

8.

Reverse procedure to install.
