Deployment of Airbags  

Deployment of the pyrotechnical systems is selective according to the type of accident. The control unit stores the number of deployments (which can be read out with TECH 2) and must be replaced as soon as one of the following conditions has been met:  

Pyrotechnical system  

Deployment after impact on  

Maximum number of deployments  

Driver's and co-driver's airbags  

Front  

1  

Seat belt tensioner  

Front/rear  

3  

Side airbag, right  

Right side  

3  

Side airbag, left  

Left side
