Tie Rod • Service The axial joints of the tie rods (2) are bolted to the steering rack. Special Service Tools KM-6004-1 (A/F32) and KM-6004-2 (A/F34) are provided for the removal and installation of the tie rods. Removal of the tie rods is not required for replacement of the steering gear.
