Replace mechanical window actuation on rear
door
 Remove

Detach rear door inner panelling

Detach water vapour barrier
|
|

Detach inner channel strip

Pull channel strip carefully from behind beginning at the
top
|
|
|
|
| 6. |
Detach outer channel strip
| • |
Pull channel strip carefully from behind beginning at the
top
|
|
|
|
|
| 7. |
Loosen lower guide rail (3)
|
| 8. |
Detach rear guide rail seal (1)
|
| 9. |
Remove rear guide rail (2)
|
|
| 10. |
Remove rear door sash window
|
|
|
| 11. |
Drill off the rivets of the mechanical window winder
|
| 12. |
Remove mechanical window winder
| • |
Extract window winders through assembly aperture of the door
frame
|
|
| 13. |
Dispose of remains of rivets
|
|
|
Install
| 14. |
Install mechanical window winder
| • |
Install window winders through assembly aperture of the door
frame
|
|
| 15. |
Fasten mechanical window winder
|
| 16. |
Fit sash window
| • |
Wind sash window half way up
|
| • |
Slide the glass pane in the lower guide
|
|
| 17. |
Install front door rear guide rail
|
| 18. |
Tighten rear lower guide rail
|
| 19. |
Attach outer shaft strip
|
| 20. |
Attach inner channel strip
|
| 21. |
Install water vapour barrier
Note: Damaged water
vapour barrier must be replaced.

Apply adhesive tape to door frame according to the shaded areas
shown.

Cut foil to size
Note: Use removed foil
and door contours as a template
|
| • |
Allow for Bowden cable and manual window actuation cuts
|
| • |
Affix water vapour barrier without creases
|
|
