Replace moulded headlining (panorama glass) - L08

  Remove

1.   Disconnect battery
2.   Remove load compartment cover
•   Unclip 2x retaining cords from tailgate (arrows)
•   Pull out 2x covers from supports, side (1)

3.   Remove A-pillar - left side
•   Unclip panel (1)
•   Unclip 2x clip

4.   Remove A-pillar - right side
•   Unclip cover
•   Unclip 2x clip
5.   Remove B-pillar deflection sheave - left side
•   Unscrew bolt
– Unclip deflection sheave cover (2)
6.   Remove upper B-pillar inner panelling - left side
•   Unclip 2x airbag panel clips (1)
•   Unclip 2x B-pillar panelling clips with plastic wedge

7.   Remove upper B-pillar deflection sheave - right side
•   Unscrew bolt
– Unclip deflection sheave cover
8.   Remove upper B-pillar inner panelling - right side
•   Unclip 2x airbag panel clips
•   Unclip 2x B-pillar panelling clips with plastic wedge
9.   Remove upper C-pillar inner panelling - left side
•   Unscrew C-pillar seatbelt fastening screws
– Detach cover cap (1)
•   Unclip 3x C-pillar inner panelling clips

10.   Remove upper C-pillar inner panelling - right side
•   Unscrew C-pillar seatbelt fastening screws
– Detach cover cap
•   Unclip 3x C-pillar inner panelling clips
11.   Remove rear seat interior light
•   Unclip light, side
•   Disconnect wiring harness plug (1)
12.   Remove interior light frame
•   Bend up 8x fastening clamps

13.   Remove 2x guide rail front fastening bolts
•   Unclip panel (1)
•   Unscrew and remove bolt (arrow)
14.   Remove 2x rear guide rail fastening bolts
•   Unclip cover
•   Unscrew bolt

15.   Remove moulded headlining
Note:   Screw in 2x bolts in rear guide rail!
Note:   2nd mechanic required! Avoid buckling during removal!
•   Push front seat backrest completely to the rear
•   Separate rear inner lighting wiring harness plug (1)
•   Loosen 4x front velcro fasteners
•   Remove moulded headlining

  Install

16.   Position moulded headlining
Note:   2nd mechanic required!
Note:   Avoid buckling!
17.   Install moulded headlining
Note:   2nd mechanic required!
•   Unscrew 2x rear guide rail bolts
•   Join 4x Velcro fasteners
•   Tighten 4x fastening bolts
– Clip in 4x panel
•   Position door seal cover lip left and right over moulded headlining
•   Connect rear interior light wiring harness plug
18.   Install interior light frame
•   Close 8x fastening clamps
19.   Install rear seats interior light
•   Connect wiring harness plug
•   Clip in light
20.   Install upper C-pillar inner panelling - left side
•   Clip in 3x C-pillar inner panelling clips
•   Tighten C-pillar seatbelt fastening screws
– Attach cover cap
21.   Install upper C-pillar inner panelling - Right side
•   Clip in 3x C-pillar inner panelling clips
•   Tighten C-pillar seatbelt fastening screws
– Attach cover cap
22.   Install upper B-pillar inner panelling - left side
•   Clip in 2x B-pillar panelling clips
•   Clip in 2x airbag panel clips
23.   Attach B-pillar defection sheave - left side
•   Tighten bolt 30 Nm
– Clip in deflection sheave cover
24.   Install upper B-pillar moulding - right side
•   Clip in 2x B-pillar panelling clips
•   Clip in 2x airbag panel clips
25.   Install B-pillar deflection sheave - right side
•   Tighten bolt 30 Nm
– Clip in deflection sheave cover
26.   Install A-pillar moulding - Left side
•   Clip in 2x clip
•   Clip in airbag panel in A-pillar
27.   Install A-pillar - right side
•   Clip in 2x clip
•   Clip in airbag panel in A-pillar
28.   Install load compartment cover
•   Engage 2x covers in supports, side
•   Clip in 2x retaining cords to tailgate
29.   Connect battery
30.   Program volatile memories
