Check surface condition of brake disc

Measure brake disc thickness with MKM-230-A

Permissible minimum thickness of the brake discs after
precision turning - nominal values
Note: Once these
dimensions have been attained, new brake linings may only be
installed on one further occasion. Thereafter, the brake discs must
be replaced.
Do not use brake discs which cannot be re-machined within the
nominal values.

Important: Note manufacturer's
instructions before machining! Machine the right brake disc at the
front first. The brake disc turning machine is then placed on the
left side rotated 180° so the adjustments from the right side
can be taken over. Machine the left brake disc at the rear first.
The brake disc turning machine is then placed on the right and
rotated 180° so the adjustments from the left side can be taken
over.

Remove corresponding brake calliper
- Removing the brake calliper of front wheel brake
- Removing brake calliper of rear wheel brake

Precision turn the corresponding brake discs
|

Install

Install corresponding brake calliper
- Installing the brake calliper of front wheel brake
- Installing the brake calliper of the rear wheel brake
