Engine Oil with Oil Filter Change

  Remove

1.   Open bonnet
2.   Remove engine cover
3.   Remove oil filter housing heat shield
•   Unscrew 2x bolts
•   Unscrew nut

4.   Remove oil filter element
•   Place collecting basin underneath.
•   Remove oil filter housing cover (1)
•   Replace oil filter element (2)
•   Replace seal ring, oil filter housing cover (3)

5.   Raise vehicle by its full height
6.   Drain engine oil
•   Place collecting basin underneath.
•   Unscrew drain bolt

  Install

7.   Install drain bolt
•   Tighten bolt 20 Nm
8.   Lower vehicle by its full height
9.   Install oil filter element
•   Install oil filter housing cover
– Tighten cover of oil filter housing 25 Nm
10.   Install heat shield for oil filter housing
•   Tighten 2x bolts
•   Tighten nut 9 Nm
11.   Top up engine oil
•   Observe specified engine oil quantity
•   Start engine and allow to run until oil pressure control indicator goes off
•   Check engine oil level, correct if necessary
12.   Install engine cover
13.   Close bonnet
