Check ribbed V-belt tension

Raise vehicle by its full height
Note: The ribbed V-belt
tension is set via the automatic ribbed V-belt tensioner. Only the
position of the moving tension arm for the ribbed V-belt tensioner
needs to be checked.

Remove lower engine compartment cover (2)

Remove 2x body-bound rivets (3)

Check position of tension arm
| • |
The marking (1) of the movable tension arm for the ribbed
V-belt tensioner must be between the markings (2).

Install

Attach lower engine compartment cover

Install 2x body-bound rivets
|
|
| 6. |
Lower vehicle by its full height
