Ribbed V-belt Tension, Check
Note: Ribbed V-belt
tension is adjusted via automatic ribbed V-belt tensioner.
Inspect

Check position of moving tension arm (1) of ribbed V-belt
tensioner
Note: Position should
be between the stops (2).
If the moving tension arm of the ribbed V-belt tensioner is resting
on one of the stops, the ribbed V-belt and the ribbed V-belt
tensioner must be replaced - see operation "Removing and installing
ribbed V-belt (with air conditioning)" and "Removing and installing
ribbed V-belt tensioner (with air conditioning)".
