Alternator Support, Remove and Install

  Remove

1.   Remove high pressure pump
2.   Remove ribbed V-belt tensioner (1)
•   Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner with KM-913-A and remove KM-6349
•   Unscrew bolt (2)
Object Number: 2406321 Size: DEFAULT


3.   Detach alternator (3)
Note:   Alternator is not to be removed
•   Unscrew bolt (2)
•   Remove bracket (1)
– Unscrew 2x bolts
Object Number: 8125497 Size: DEFAULT


4.   Remove alternator support (4)
•   Unscrew 6x bolt (1...3)
Note:   Note different bolt lengths
•   Screw in spacer sleeve
Object Number: 8125496 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

5.   Install alternator bracket
Note:   Note 2x guide bushing
•   Tighten 5x bolt 25 Nm
Note:   Note different bolt lengths
•   Screw in spacer sleeve as far as the stop
•   Tighten bolt 25 Nm
6.   Attach alternator
•   Tighten 3x bolt 70 Nm
7.   Install ribbed V-belt tensioner
•   Tighten bolt 50 Nm
•   Tension ribbed V-belt tensioner with KM-913-A
•   Insert KM-6349
8.   Install high pressure pump
