Replace pressure regulator

Important:   When working on the fuel system it is essential to pay attention to cleanliness as even the smallest dirt particles can lead to faults in engine operation or in the fuel system. Open fuel connections must be sealed with appropriate plugs from the Opel Parts Catalogue (catalogue number: 45 06 154 / part number: 9201697). Sealing plugs are only intended to be used once.

  Remove

1.   Remove accumulator
2.   Detach pressure regulator valve (3) from accumulator
•   Unscrew pressure-regulating valve
– Unscrew at hexagon (2)
– Counterhold at hexagon (1)
Object Number: 9007526 Size: DEFAULT


  Install

3.   Attach pressure regulator valve to accumulator
•   Tighten pressure-regulating valve 60 Nm
– Counterhold at hexagon
4.   Install accumulator

Replace fuel return damping case > < Accumulator, Remove and Install
