The following test steps must be performed in the given order. If a fault is found in one test step, the subsequent test steps can be skipped.
Fuses
- Check the following fuses for proper operation:
FE26 Fuse
- If fuse FE26 is defective:
Function Checks
Check all vacuum lines of the following component for tightness and proper installation:
Check if the following component is not blocked by ice:
Y1_Y21B Solenoid Valve - Twinport
Check if the limiting stops of the Twinport flaps are worn or broken.
Check all sensors, actuators and the wiring harness of the system for corrosion and damages.

- Select the following Functional System on the diagnostic tester:

Perform the following troubleshooting:
After successful test/fault repair proceed to the next test step
