Replace electro-hydraulic supply unit (LHD,
ZF)
Note: The front axle
body remains fitted. The electro-hydraulic supply unit of ZF is
removed from above with holder.
 Remove
| 1. |
Pump hydraulic fluid out of electro-hydraulic supply unit
|

| 2. |
Separate wiring harness from electro-hydraulic supply unit
| • |
Unlatch and disconnect wiring harness plug (3)
|
| • |
Release primary lock (1) from wiring harness plug
|
| • |
Compress secondary lock and separate wiring harness plug
(2)
|
|
|
| 3. |
Detach lower engine compartment cover
|
|
|
| 4. |
Remove supply and return line from electro-hydraulic supply
unit
Note: Oil runs out, use
catchment tray.

Remove supply and return line from electro-hydraulic supply
unit
|
|
|
|
| 5. |
Detach electro-hydraulic supply unit with bracket from front
axle body
|
Install
| 6. |
Place electro-hydraulic supply unit with bracket on front axle
body
Note: Note steering
wiring harness.
| • |
Attach electro-hydraulic supply unit to front axle body 22 Nm
|
|
| 7. |
Attach pressure and return lines to electro-hydraulic supply
unit with new seal rings
Note: Do not attach
bracket for electro-hydraulic supply unit yet!

|
| 8. |
Connect wiring harness with electro-hydraulic supply unit
| • |
Connect and lock 2x wiring harness plug
|
|
| 9. |
Detach lower engine compartment cover
|
|
|
| 10. |
Add special fluid to oil tank up to the "MAX" mark (1) on the
oil dipstick
|
| 11. |
Place cover on oil tank and close
|
|
|
| 12. |
Charge and bleed hydraulic system 
|
| 13. |
When replacing the electro-hydraulic supply unit, carry out
programming with TECH2 after installation
|
