Boots on Steering Gear, Replace
 Remove

If fitted: Remove engine compartment cover 
|
| 4. |
Remove retaining clamp / retaining straps (1) and (2).
|
| 5. |
Remove boot (3) from tie rod.
|
|
|
Install
| 6. |
Pull boot over tie rod and slide onto steering gear

Lubricate groove (1) with grease from the bellows part kit
Note: Ensure that the
boot sits in the grooves (1) and (2) of the tie rod and steering
gear.

Attach boot to steering gear with new retaining clamps and
MKM-804 (3)
|
| 9. |
If fitted: Install lower engine compartment cover
|
| 10. |
Fit front wheel 110 Nm
|
|
|
| 11. |
Check toe-in, adjust if necessary
|
