Exhaust Manifold Installation

1.	Install a NEW exhaust manifold gasket (1).

2.	Install the exhaust manifold (2).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution .

3.	Install the 10 exhaust manifold nuts (3) and tighten it in 2 steps:

In first step tighten to 15 N·m (11 lb ft) .

In an additional step tighten to 30° .

4.	Install the exhaust manifold heat shield right side (2).

5.	Install the exhaust manifold heat shield right side nut (1) and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in) .

6.	Install the exhaust manifold heat shield left side (1).

7.	Install the exhaust manifold heat shield left side nut (4) and tighten to 9 N·m (80 lb in) .

8.	Install the engine lift front bracket (2).

9.	Install the engine lift front bracket bolt (3) and tighten to 25 N·m (18 lb ft) .
