Removal Procedure

Caution: Clean the crankshaft sealing surface with a clean,
lint-free towel. Inspect lead-in edge of crankshaft for burrs/sharp
edges that could damage the rear main oil seal. Remove burrs/sharp
edges with crocus cloth before proceeding. |

Remove the camshaft front oil
seal (1) from the camshaft (2), using the EN-45000
remover . |
Installation Procedure

Caution: Clean the crankshaft sealing surface with a clean,
lint-free towel. Inspect lead-in edge of crankshaft for burrs/sharp
edges that could damage the rear main oil seal. Remove burrs/sharp
edges with crocus cloth before proceeding. |

Install the camshaft front oil
seal, using the EN-656 Installer (1). |
