Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Assemble (1.7L Diesel LPL,
LPV and LUB)

Mind the assembly position of
the thermostat. The mark (1) must point upwards. |
| 2. |
Install a NEW water outlet
gasket (3). |
| 3. |
Install the thermostat (4) to
the thermostat housing (2). |
| 4. |
Install the water outlet
(5). |
| 5. |
Install the 2 water outlet
bolts (6) and tighten to 24 N·m (18 lb ft)
. |
| 6. |
Apply sealing compound to the
engine coolant temperature sensor (1). |
| 7. |
Install the engine coolant
temperature sensor (1). Use a NEW seal ring. |
| 8. |
Tighten the engine coolant
temperature sensor to 20 N·m (15 lb ft)
. |
