Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing Cleaning and Inspection (1.7L Diesel LPL, LPV and LUB)

1.	Clean the sealing surfaces (2, 3 and 4) from old gasket material.

2.	Clean the coolant hose flanges (5, 7) and the coolant pipe attachment (1).

3.	Inspect the thermostat housing and the water outlet for cracks and fractures.

4.	Inspect the thermostat (6) for practicability.

5.	Replace the thermostat, if it is not practicable.
