·   Engine speed greater than 2000 rpm

·   Control unit reference voltage for knock sensor lower than 10 mV. The value varies depending on the engine speed

·   Knock sensor voltage is evaluated and indicates an implausible value for 50 consecutive checks (at 100 ms intervals)

Replacement values:

·   If the engine load signal is greater than 4.1 ms and the coolant temperature is higher than 30 °C / 86 °F the control unit retards the firing angle by up to 10.5 °CA for safety reasons.
