The task of the brake band solenoid valve is to close and open the brake band.

The brake band solenoid valve is located in the main housing and is open under normal conditions.

 

Special regulation from the brake band solenoid valve (control pulses from the control unit) also allows time - dependent closing and opening of the brake band, i. e. faster or slower. This ensures smooth shifting in all driving situations.
