Remove front panelling – see operation "Front Panelling, Remove and Install" in group "A".

Remove radiator – see operation "Radiator, Remove and Install" in group "J".

For vehicles with air conditioning: Remove condenser – see operation "Condenser, Remove and Install (4 Cylinder Engine)" or "Condenser, Remove and Install (6 Cylinder Engine)" in group "D".

Remove reservoir for screen wash/wipe system – see operation "Reservoir, Screen Wash/Wipe System and Headlamp High Pressure Washer System, Remove and Install" in group "N".

Detach front panelling member (1) with brackets from front frame side member.

Release return hose from fluid reservoir and detach. Detach pressure line from power steering pump. Release union nut (2) and hose clamp (1) for steering gear pressure and return lines on cooling loop.

Caution

Fluid escapes, collect and close off openings.

  Remove

Open clips on front frame side member and radiator crossmember. Remove cooling loop.

  Install

Insert new cooling loop and close clips on front frame side member and radiator crossmember.

Attach return line for steering gear to cooling loop with hose clamp. Attach steering gear pressure line to cooling loop – tightening torque 18 Nm / 13 lbf. ft.

Attach front panelling member (1) to front frame side member with brackets – tightening torque 12 Nm / 9 lbf. ft.

Remove reservoir for screen wash/wipe system – see operation "Reservoir, Screen Wash/Wipe System and Headlamp High Pressure Washer System, Remove and Install" in group "N".

For vehicles with air conditioning: Install condenser – see operation "Condenser, Remove and Install (4 Cylinder Engine)" or "Condenser, Remove and Install (6 Cylinder Engine)" in group "D".

Install radiator – see operation "Radiator, Remove and Install" in group "J".

Attach front panelling – see operation "Front Panelling, Remove and Install" in group "A".

Attach lower engine compartment cover. Attach ground cable to battery.

Charge and bleed hydraulic system – see operation "Hydraulic System, Charge and Bleed".
