Front Toothed Belt Cover, Remove and Install (16 LZ2 and 20 NEJ)  

  Remove, Disconnect   

Remove air cleaner housing - see illustration "Air Cleaner Housing, Air Flow Guide (16 LZ2)" or "Air Cleaner Housing, Air Flow Guide (20 NEJ)".   Mark running direction of ribbed V-belt. Tension ribbed V-belt clockwise using ribbed V-belt tension roller and KM-913-A and remove ribbed V-belt from pulleys.   Remove torque support bracket (1).   Remove lower wheel well panelling.   Remove torsional vibration damper (2) - counterhold at fastening bolt of the toothed belt drive gear.   Remove front toothed belt cover from rear toothed belt cover.

  Install, Connect   

Attach front toothed belt cover to rear toothed belt cover - 4 Nm / 3 lbf. ft.   Install torsional vibration damper - counterhold on the fastening bolt for the toothed belt drive gear - tightening torque 20 Nm / 15 lbf. ft.   Install lower wheel well panelling.   Insert torque support bracket and install fastening bolts (1) and (2) - tightening torque 60 Nm / 44 lbf. ft.   Tension ribbed V-belt tension roller clockwise with KM-913-A and position ribbed V-belt - note running direction of ribbed V-belt.   Install air cleaner housing - see illustration "Air Cleaner Housing, Air Flow Guide (16 LZ2)" or "Air Cleaner Housing, Air Flow Guide (20 NEJ)".
