4 cyl. carburetor engine, mechanics (1.5, 1.6 and 1.8 litre engine)
Dismantling and assembling cylinder block, crankshaft and flywheel
Subsequent machining of ignition timing notch

Only the TDC mark -0- is provided on a replacement flywheel or replacement drive plate.

The corresponding ignition timing notch must be machined if the flywheel / drive plate is renewed.

  • ‒ → Mark position of ignition timing notch above TDC mark -0-/to the left (BTDC) or to the right (ATDC) of the centre of the TDC mark. This requires measurement of the arc length (dimension -a- or -b-).
