Important!

When working on the supply, pay careful attention to the follow five points:

Thoroughly clean all unions etc. and the adjacent areas before disconnecting.

Place parts that have been removed on a clean surface and cover over. Use paper or plastic sheet.
Do not use fluffy cloths

Components that have been opened or dismantled must be carefully covered or sealed if the repair cannot be carried out immediately

Only install clean components.
- Only unpack replacement parts immediately prior to installation.
- Do not use parts that have been stored loose (for instance in toolboxes etc.).

5

When the fuel is open:
- Do not work with compressed air if this can be avoided.
- Do not move the vehicle unless absolutely necessary.

On some engines a vacuum booster -A- and additional non-return valve -B- are installed to increase the vacuum for the brake servo.

  • 1 - Injector
  • 2 - O ring
    • Moisten with petrol before installing
  • 3 - Injector insert
    • Install upper part with -D6- and tighten to 20 Nm
    • Remove and install with 3135
  • 4 - O ring

Note:

Service installation of the modified injectors is not possible because the two part insert -3- cannot be installed in cylinder heads up ▸07.84
