(RHD vehicles)


  • Column with pedal bracket
    • ◆ Do not remove to repair brake pedal
  • Bushes
    • ◆ Drive out with drift
    • ◆ Press in with vice
  • Bell crank, right
  • Adjust push rod/Servo linkage
    • ◆ Install servo with bell crank, set push rod dimension b and attach to bell crank
    • ◆ Install pull rod free of play and lock

Note

Grease all joints in interior with MoS2 grease and all joints in engine compartment with multi-purpose grease (Lithium based grease is water-repellent).

  • Brake servo
    • ◆ With master cylinder
  • Bell crank, left
  • Pull rod

Note

If linkage is stiff in operation, replace pivot pins and shafts with new type stainless steel parts (Part No. 172 721 725 B and 172 721 737 A).
