Dismantling and assembling parking lock > < Removing and installing valve body
Removing and installing gearbox oil temperature senderG93
Removing and installing gearbox oil temperature sender -G93-
Location: the conductor strip is located in the pan under the valve body.
The conductor strip can be renewed with gearbox installed without removing the valve body.
Removing
–  Drain ATF.
–  ATF can be extracted from torque converter by using probe -V.A.G 1358 A/1- and extracting unit -V.A.G 1358 A-.
–  Raise vehicle.
–  Remove guard plate for ATF pan.
–  Separate connector for conductor strip.
–  Remove ATF pan.
   
–  Remove ATF strainer.
–  Position lever for conductor strip -3373- against stop under plug for solenoid valves.
  N38-0007
–  Use lever for conductor strip -3373- to lever conductor strip off solenoid valves in direction of arrow.
–  Remove bolt -1- for conductor strip and remove conductor strip.
  Note
If the fasteners are damaged, the valve body must be exchanged.
Installing
  N38-0029
–  Route conductor strip as illustrated; do not kink or twist.
–  Before installing ATF strainer, press seal into strainer.
–  Renew seal for ATF pan; press sleeves into seal.
  N38-0009
Torque settings 
Conductor strip to gearbox housing10 Nm
ATF strainer to valve body8 Nm
ATF pan to gearbox housing12 Nm

–  Fill with 3 litres of ATF, check ATF level and top up → Chapter.
