| Secure all hose connections with hose clips which conform to production standard. |

| Hose clip pliers -V.A.G 1921- or spring-type clip pliers -VAS 5024A- are recommended for installation of spring-type clips. |

| Always renew gaskets and seals. |

| The arrows on the coolant pipes and on the ends of the hoses must be aligned with each other. |

| When renewing expansion tank and during service operations, ensure that 2 silicate cartridges → Electronic parts catalogue are always in expansion tank. The silicate cartridges must not be removed. |
