Removing and installing wheel bearing housing > < Removing and installing track rod

1 - Bolt
q   50 Nm + 45° further
q   Always renew after removing.
2 - Mounting bracket
3 - Bolt
q   90 Nm + 90° further
q   Always renew after removing.
4 - Coupling rod
q   Connects anti-roll bar to trailing arm and wheel bearing housing
5 - Bolt
q   90 Nm + 45° further
q   Observe tightening sequence → 
q   Always renew after removing.
6 - Trailing arm
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
q   Repairing → Chapter
7 - Bolt
q   8 Nm
8 - Rear right speed sensor -G44-/rear left speed sensor -G46-
q   Can be tested in guided fault finding using → Vehicle diagnostic tester
q   Before inserting sensor, clean inner surface of hole and coat with lubricating paste -G 000 650-.
9 - Wheel bearing housing
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
10 - Bonded rubber bush
q   Renewing → Chapter.
11 - Nut
q   45 Nm
q   Always renew after removing.
12 - Bolt
q   4 Nm
13 - Brake disc
14 - Dust cap
q   Always renew after removing.
q   Pressing off and driving in → Chapter
A proper seal can be achieved only by installing a new grease cap.
15 - Bolt
q   180 Nm + 180° further
q   Loosen and tighten with bit XZN 18 -T10162-
q   Always renew after removing.
16 - Wheel hub with wheel bearing
q   ABS sensor ring is installed in wheel bearing.
q   Removing and installing → Chapter.
The wheel bearing and wheel hub are assembled in one housing.
This wheel bearing/wheel hub unit is maintenance-free and has zero play. Adjustments and repairs are not possible!
17 - Bolt
q   12 Nm
18 - Splash plate
