| Brake system (hydraulic unit, brake hoses, brake pipes and brake caliper) operation and tightness OK. |

| Release the plug from one of the front brake calipers. Connect Testing equipment for brake systems - V.A.G 1310 A- and vent. |

| Pre-tension the brake pedal until the pressure gage reads 50 bar overpressure. The pressure loss in 45 seconds of checking must not be higher than 4 bar. If the loss is greater than that, replace the brake cylinder. |
