Rear brake caliper - repair
t  Install the complete repair set during repairs
t  New brake calipers are filled with brake fluid and previously bled.
t  Apply a light coat of Assembly paste -G 052 150 A2- on the brake cylinder, plungers and sealing ring.
t  In case of repair, the brake calipers must be ventilated in advance before installation in the vehicle (without brake pads). → Chapter
  WARNING
Always replace self-locking nuts and screws subject to angular torque
   
1 - Hexagonal head, screw
q   35 Nm
q   replace
q   hold the guide pins while loosening and tightening
2 - Bleeder valve
q   before installing, apply a light coat of Assembly paste -G 052 150 A2-.
3 - Dust protection cover
4 - Guide pin
q   lubricate before putting the protection cover
5 - Protection cover
q   place on the brake support and on the guide pin
6 - Brake support with guide pins and protection cover
q   it is supplied as replacement part assembled and with the necessary amount of grease on the guide pins
q   in case of damages to the protection covers or guide pins, install the repair set, use the grease supplied to lubricate the guide pin
7 - Protection cover
q   place the external lip on the plunger
8 - Plunger with automatic readjustment device
q   remove and install → Chapter
q   first apply a light coat of Assembly paste -G 052 150 A2- on the plunger.
9 - Sealing ring
q   remove and install → Chapter
10 - Brake caliper case with handbrake cable lever
q   in case of spillage at the handbrake cable lever, replace the brake caliper case
q   after repairing, ventilate the brake caliper case beforehand. → Chapter
