Measure and mark up the position of holes in the C and D-pillars.
Use a 5.4 mm (7/32") drill.
Pop-riveted clip mountings
Measure up the position of the clip mounting as illustrated.
Drill 2.5 mm (3/32") holes.
Install clip mountings.
Welded clip mountings
Measure up the position of the clip mounting as illustrated.
Carefully sand off paint where the clip mounting is to be installed.
Note: Take care not to cut through the zinc body coating.
Install clip mountings.
Note: Most guns do not have a timer. Hold the trigger for 0.5-1.0 seconds. A longer welding duration can damage the body panel.
