Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Service and Repair
Sunroof gear assembly/motor, replacement
Removal
Manual sunroof:
- Remove crank.
- Remove cover.
- Remove gear assembly.
Power sunroof:
- Remove cover.
- Cut hole in headlining.
- Remove motor.
Installation
Manual sunroof:
- Zero gear assembly:
- Press in release knob and give gears two turns counterclockwise.
- Release knob.
