Sunroof / Moonroof Panel: Service and Repair

Sunroof, metal, replacement 

Remove:

Open sunroof to ventilation position.

Push down sunroof headlining with one finger. Unhook retaining springs (both sides) with a bent piece of wire.

Carry out this work from outside vehicle and from rear of sunroof.

Pull down vehicle headlining at rear 0 sunroof. Stretch as far as is needed for sunroof headlining (see next paragraph) to pass below gutter rail In roof.

At the same time, slide sunroof to rear to release catches at front of sunroof.

Note:  Do not pull sunroof so far rearwards that it is in line with the rear part of the sunroof frame. Otherwise It can slide in under the headlining and
jam.

Unhook springs from sunroof

Remove sunroof retaining screws from sides.
