Power Seat Motor: Service and Repair
Drive Cable, Change
Drive Cable Right, Front or Center Seat-Cushion Motor, Change
Drive cable right, to front or center seat-cushion motor, change
NOTE: When performing the foil owing tasks, take care that the seat guide rails do not alter their position relative to one another, or it will not be
possible to replace the seat in the vehicle.
Remove:
Preparations

Remove battery negative lead and note any radio code.

Remove seat from vehicle. See: Service and Repair/Remove Seat From Vehicle
Location
-
Turn seat upside down on a clean sheet.
Removal of brackets
-
Remove brackets with the three motors.
-
Slacken off the four screws.
Removal of right bracket
-
Remove right bracket which is fixed with six screws.
