P4. Cleaning and inspection
Polish cylinder bore with honing tool.
Clean cylinder and all components which are not to be replaced (including reservoir) with denatured alcohol. Blow equalizing port and overflow
port, as well as other components, clean with compressed air.
Inspect cylinder bore carefully. Replace cylinder if bore is scored or otherwise damaged.
Replace both pistons, including interconnecting sleeve and seals, as a unit.
Lubricate cylinder bore and piston seals with brake fluid.
Fit seal (1), spring seat (2) and spring (3) to piston assembly
Reassembly
P5. Install complete piston assembly and spring in cylinder
Refit circlip.
P6. Replace brake fluid reservoir seals in cylinder. Reassemble reservoir with master cylinder
