EVAPORATOR ODOR TREATMENT
A customer may complain of an unpleasant odor from the ventilation system. The NC system evaporator coating may give off such an odor. This can be
minimized by spraying the outside of the evaporator with the A/C odor remover (P/N 1161454-2). Refer also to SB 8-87-942.
MATERIAL / EQUIPMENT FOR TREATING EVAPORATOR:
Modify AS2 nozzle:

Fabricate a approx. 25" long rubber hose (3/8" inner diameter)

Attach hose to nozzle with hoseclamp.
Protective goggles, shop rags and vacuum cleaner.
MATERIALS:
A/C odor remover (liquid), P/N 1161454-2 USA, 1161712-3 Canada. (AS2 nozzle is included in the treatment kit).
READ WARNING TEXT ON PACK BEFORE COMMENCING WORK. USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES WHILE SPRAYING.
