Remove blower motor following method described in Service Manual.
INSPECT AND VACUUM CLEAN THE EVAPORATOR
- Inspect the evaporator by using a flashlight and mirror.
- Clean evaporator using vacuum cleaner.

Where a great deal of dirt has accumulated on the evaporator it must be removed and cleaned very carefully.

Carry out B1 in the same way for variants as shown in illustrations below.

TREATING OF EVAPORATOR
- Insert spray nozzle through hole in evaporator housing.
- Cover hole with wipe, cloth or similar.
- Protect car interior.
USE PROTECTIVE GOGGLES AND GLOVES. ENSURE VENTILATION IS GOOD.
- Direct nozzle spray at evaporator.
- Move nozzle backward and forward across evaporator while spraying with the liquid in order to ensure that complete unit is treated. Use complete
contents of container.
700/900 models without ECC, includes 760 - 1987.
