ECC Unit Removal

A1 Remove dashboard
A2 Remove:

-

firewall cover panel (three screws), taking care to avoid damaging paintwork

-

cover and bracket over climate unit air intake.

A3 Disconnect heater hoses at firewall.

First apply hose clamps to hoses.

A4 Remove mounting nuts and cover plate.

Note:  Operation A5 applies only to cars with A/C

A5 Mark and disconnect climate unit vacuum and electrical connections in engine compartment.
A6 Press rubber grommet into passenger compartment.

Note:  Operation A7 applies only to cars with A/C
