A7 Remove nut over drain hole (inset picture).

Note:  Operation A8 applies only to cars with A/C

A8 Drain system of refrigerant.
A9 Remove pipe between evaporator and air receiver. Also remove liquid line to evaporator. Plug connections.

Note:  Illustration shows earlier version.

A10 Remove:

-

electrical distribution unit (tilt backward)

-

relay board bracket.

Note:  Carefully note location of leads before removing electrical distribution unit.

Inside car:

A11 Remove:

-

floor duct screw and plastic retainer

-

screw securing unit to distribution housing

-

screw securing unit to dashboard.
