Air Bag: Description and Operation
Inflator

    The inflator consists of a gas generator and an igniter. It contains a material which when ignited, generates the nitrogen gas which inflates the bag. As
already described the bag is inflated extremely fast by gas. The inflator is a sealed unit, made of aluminum.
