Seat Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair
Tensioner Deployment

1. Place vehicle outdoors, then disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Open all windows and doors.
3. Disconnect belt tensioner connector.
4. Ensure seat belt tensioner is firmly mounted to vehicle.
5. Connect two 20.0 ft. long wires to twin terminal ignition connector of seat belt tensioner to be deployed.
6. Working from 20.0 ft away, connect wires to terminals of a 12 volt power source to trigger the inflator. Ensure no people, animals or objects are

within 20.0 feet of vehicle when unit deploys.

7. If unit does not deploy, disconnect wires from power source. Use extreme care to inspect wiring and repeat procedure.
